현대 개량악기가 아닌 클라비코드, 하프시코드 그리고
오르간에 깃들어 있는 독특한 감정을 쏟아내며 메시야의 반주에 꽃인 트렘펫을 원전당시의 악기 클라리노가 대신하는 정격연주 메시야입니다. 당대의 작곡가 의도대로 연주
하기 위해 합창단도 30명 내외이고 오케스트라도 챔버수준의 솔로이스트입니다. 2001년에 소개 하여 드렸던 칼 리히터,런던필하모닉과는 완전히 다른 해석이 나올 것입니다.
해석 또한 당시의 고증을 많이 참고하여 당대의 해석 그대로 연주 하려고 노력 하였다고 합니다.지나친 감정이 이입되는 끌고 당김, 그리고 고의적으로 늘리는 테누토, 리타르
단도 등의 기법을 남발하지 않고 악보에 충실 하였다고 합니다. 그리고 합창곡 정격연주의 백미를 위해 보이소프라노를 기용한 것도 노력의 흔적이라 할 수 있습니다. 영어권
메시아가 그러하듯 역시 빠른 템포로 연주하고 있습니다.
